CD replication for the highest quality products

CD Replication is the process of actually making a CD from raw materials. This manufacturing process is more cost-effective for jobs of 500 or more. Evatone's precise CD replication process involves using your master disc to create a glass master, which is then used to create a metal stamper that is placed into a molding press. Plastic is injected into the molds, and an exact copy of your master disc is "pressed." The data or audio is perfectly replicated by a series of "pits" on the shiny, playing side of the disc.

CD mastering

Evatone provides complete pre-mastering services with the ability to work from various storage media – with just about any format you supply. Our preferred format for masters is CD or CD-Recordable in compliance with Philips Red Book specifications. With pre-mastering, glass mastering and optical disc CD replication, we use our expertise to create consistent, clear CDs and CD ROMs. Up to 5-color screen-printing is available through process or PMS colors.

CD-ROM copy protection

Evatone maintains strict procedures to monitor and screen for unauthorized or pirated copying requests. We will not knowingly replicate or duplicate any optical or magnetic media without the consent of the intellectual property owner or his/her duly authorized licensee. Evatone exchanges information and cooperates fully with RIAA, MPAA and SIIA policies, as well as with appropriate law enforcement agencies.

Evatone maintains strict standards for safeguarding digital content. We use world class technologies that are easily integrated into your CD-ROM for a complete solution. For further security, Evatone provides RepliCheck™, a service that reduces the risk of pirated CD contents. It quickly scans a CD for copyrighted music and software and then cross-references those contents against a customer's license documentation.

CD duplication for short runs

CD duplication is a process typically used for quick turnarounds on small jobs of less than 500 pieces. The data or audio is duplicated on the disc by means of a series of dots and dashes burned into a photosensitive layer by a laser beam. When the disc is played, it translates the dots and dashes back into the original data or music from your master.
